At the briefing, we will also offer our insight and perspective around any key nuances associated with the search, specific to your requirements.
Assist in developing a comprehensive and clear role specification, covering off all relevant details associated with the role. Agree timelines, updates, number of interviews etc, taking into account your particular priorities.
Getting going on the search
Determine the target market and agree it with you, to ensure any sensitivities are considered, or potential conflict negated. Map and research the target market companies and sectors to identify all potential candidates, who possess the relevant skills and qualifications. We make use of comprehensive research tools and expertise to source through a wide range of potential candidates, preferring always to make initial contact in the traditional and more personal fashion, by way of a telephone conversation, followed by an email with the job specification, to initiate further dialogue.

Approach all potential candidates, to ascertain their interest in the role. The best performing candidates in the market are not always disposed to a career move and are highly valued employees within their current companies. We manage our conversations with every candidate we approach very carefully and personably, in order to build rapport and truly ensure we understand their aspirations, interests and needs, before matching them to your requirement. The gentle art of persuasion is also a skill that plays out uniquely with each senior candidates we deal with.
Meet and evaluate
Once we are of the opinion we have a close match, we develop a long list of prospective candidates best qualified for the role, and schedule face to face interviews with candidates, where we evaluate more rigorously their suitability to the role against the specification, along with the ‘softer’ aspects of evaluating personality and culture fit considerations.
Once the long list of potential candidates have been met and assessed, we develop a short list of candidates who are suitably qualified and interested in further engaging around the position
Present Shortlist to Client for Interviews
Present a shortlist of the most qualified candidates, based on in-depth written analysis and appraisal against the specification.
The shortlist will be made up of the candidates CV/Bio, along with notes formulated on each candidate during the sourcing and interview process. These will also contain any external views gained that either confirm or enhance our knowledge of the candidates character and reputation, ability and past performance, track record and achievements.
You will then decide from this shortlist, who you would like to conduct formal interviews with. We will then set up the interviews with the respective candidates for you to meet.
Facilitate the process for the client and candidates, so that all issues are dealt with as smoothly as possible. Full data credit, criminal, education and reference checks are compiled on those candidates chosen, to verify the integrity of all information provided. If required, we also provide a full battery of in depth executive assessments, so ensure a full capability analysis and recommendation is conducted on the preferred candidates. These results can be presented in a face to face session, in order to assist you in making a decision.
Selection, offer and completion
Once the preferred candidate has been chosen, we assist in all negotiations over compensation and other terms to help finalize the search. We will follow up with the company and candidate after the candidate has joined, to ensure both parties have met their expectations.
We are available at all times to assist and will periodically be in touch to ensure that the placed candidate is performing successfully in their role.
